Reclaimed chestnut parquet flooring brings warmth and history into your home. Each plank comes from old chestnut structures salvaged across Anatolia and the Balkans. For centuries, builders across these regions chose chestnut above other timbers, a choice that reflects the wood's natural strength and its rich, reddish-brown colour.
We make each order to your spec, so contact us for sizes or finishes outside the standard range. The same reclaimed chestnut is also available as reclaimed wood table tops and worktops, with matching reclaimed wood wall cladding for larger projects.

The Process
Every piece starts as a building no one needs any more. Ten stages later, it's ready for your space, and we keep every mark it earned along the way.
Tap a step, or let it play.
We recover timber from end-of-life structures across Anatolia and the Balkans. Old barns, farmhouses, and rural buildings no longer in use. Every piece starts here.
Our team dismantles each structure by hand. No bulldozers, no waste. We recover every beam and plank intact.
We strip away decades of dirt, paint, and weathering. What remains is raw, aged timber.
We find and remove every embedded nail, bolt, and fragment by hand. One missed piece can ruin a blade, and the finished product with it.
We cut the raw timbers into workable sizes for the first time. Rough lumber starts to become usable material.
Heat treatment sterilises the timber and brings its moisture down to precise levels. We stabilise the wood now, so every piece holds its shape and lasts a lifetime.
We plane each piece to its required thickness. Structural integrity and dimensional accuracy start here.
We finish the edges and faces with care. The wood moves from rough stock to a refined surface.
We cut the final forms to millimetre accuracy, then keep the grain, the knots, and the patina intact.
Fine sanding brings out the timber's original grain. What some call imperfections, we call identity. Marks of a century, not damage.
Every piece tells a story of dedication to the craft. Our artisans blend traditional woodworking techniques with contemporary design sensibilities, creating furniture that brings warmth and character to your space. From carefully selected timber to hand-finished details, each creation is built to become a cherished part of your home for generations to come.
